Scotweb’s MD, Dr Nicholas J Fiddes, has written a free illustrated e-book, as a gift to help kilt lovers everywhere. In simple non-technical language it covers every aspect of buying a kilt, choosing your tartan, and accessorising an outfit for every occasion.
As a Governor of the Scottish Tartans Authority, and founder of the world’s first company to market kilts on the Internet (yes, Scotweb) no one is better qualified to offer such advice. Impartial and objective, this is a personal work and is not a Scotweb publication.
Very happy with this strap - It has already started to soften with one wear. The dark brown is very dark, almost black.

It's nice to have an alternative to the chain strap and this is a good-looking, basic belt. The dark brown is very dark, almost black. After one wearing, it's already starting to soften.

A good choice for everyday sporran strap.
It is simple, perhaps a little bit rigid, but it can become softer after few days of use or by using
some leather oil.
It is a good product.

This is a substantial black leather belt about 20mm wide, by 4mm thick. Good smell of leather as it comes out of the bag creates a positive impression of the product. The keeper loop is made of a thinner leather for neatness. The surface of the belt is heavily grained, and is a good match for Margaret Morrison leather sporrans such as tyhe MML4 (which Kiltstor also sell).
